We are Sitka Geoscience – a father-son duo who exclusively service engineering applications using geophysical methods. We operate in British Columbia (and the rest of Western Canada) and focus on providing our solutions to engineers and people needing to know unknown factors of the subsurface – whether it be in the earth or structures. Sitka is registered with the EGBC and is insured to perform work in British Columbia and Western Canada.
Anthony, having worked in Geophysics since 2009, has been solely focused on this niche science. Now heading crews performing geophysical surveys ranging vastly in complexity in nearly all the environments that Canada has to offer like projects across water bodies, polar conditions, mountain ranges, swamps and everything in between. From large bridge projects, to hydro electric dams, large condo developments and smaller projects for residential homes, earth dams or remote airstrips.
Milan, a veteran in the geophysical field and has previously sat as President of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, where we originate. Suffice to say his oversight on the quality of all work is excellent, as he has been around since many of the geophysical techniques we use have been invented and developed into their now advanced form. In the past he formed the Toronto office of Geophysics GPR from a solo venture to a 10 person operation, being now among the largest of Geophysical firms in Ontario. Having moved on since and started Sitka Geoscience to efficiently service the Engineering fields using Geophysics.
We have both focused our careers on exactly what we service – geophysical solutions to engineering problems.
Sitka is certified with The Association of Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia as well as the other Western Provinces including Ontario. We are fully insured and have a perfect safety record across Canada. Upon request, we can provide references to attest to the quality of our past work, for which Milan has completed about 4000 projects ranging in significantly in application, size and complexity.
