We are Sitka Geoscience – a father-son duo who exclusively service engineering applications using geophysical methods. We operate in British Columbia and focus on providing our solutions to engineers and people needing to know unknown factors of the subsurface – whether it be in the earth or structures. Sitka is registered with the EGBC and is insured to perform work in British Columbia.
Anthony, with 12 years in Geophysics, and another 5 years as a technician in the same field before that, has been solely focused on this niche science. Now heading crews performing geophysical surveys ranging vastly in complexity in nearly all the environments that Canada has to offer like projects across water bodies, polar conditions, mountain ranges, swamps and everything in between. Anthony has had thorough familiarity with all the geophysical tools Sitka has in stock and access to, having had excellent guidance and advice from Milan over the years. Originating from Ontario and now based in British Columbia, Sitka is aiming to serve local engineers tackle problems involving unknown attributes of subsurfaces.
Milan, with some 35+ years of geophysical experience has previously sat as President of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, where we originate. Suffice to say his oversight on the quality of all work is excellent, as he has been around since many of the geophysical techniques we use have been invented and developed into their now advanced form.
We have both focused our careers on exactly what we service – geophysical solutions to engineering problems.
Sitka is certified with The Association of Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia as well as The Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario to perform Geophysical work. We are fully insured and have a perfect safety record across Canada. Upon request, we can provide references to attest to the quality of our past work, for which Milan has completed about 4000 projects ranging in size significantly.
